How does it work?
Your lash technician will individually apply eyelashes to your own top lashes using a light-weight adhesive. There are choices for how thick or long you want your lashes to be. You can also decide if you want a full set or a half set. Half sets are a great option if you’re on a budget and can still create a longer lash look.
How is it different from false lashes?
False eyelashes (aka falsies) are applied all together with a strip of glue. They’re made of low-quality artificial fibres and can weight eyelids down with their weight. Eyelash extensions are applied individually, mimic the shape of natural eyelashes and are feather light.
Can the glue hurt my eyes?
Your eyes will be closed during the application to prevent glue getting into them. If you notice that you’re tearing up during the procedure or have any other discomfort, let the aesthetician know.
Does the lash brand matter?
At Bliss we use Xtreme Lashes extensions which have a natural appearance, are safe and comfortable to wear, high quality and never applied directly to your skin or eyelid. All users of Xtreme Lashes are trained and certified stylists. Make sure your aesthetician is using a high-quality product and has the proper training.
How long does it last?
Lash extensions follow the growth cycle of your natural lashes which is usually around 6 weeks. This is variable and depends on the growth rate of your lashes.
